Look at the recent reaction of people going against the NEP being demolish in penang. There is a catch to it
1) why does many people need the nep when u are richer than most people there? Plus, malay are no longer the poorest nor the least population of people in the country, so its really nor fair to hog at that special preveliges to you m*nkeys and time to let the country develop, and stop wasting money
2) sabah minister said : Sabah Progressive Party president Datuk Yong Teck Lee is puzzled why there is so much fuss over the New Economic Policy when it has already been superseded by the National Development Policy.

yah, everyone so hyped up bout this new goverment thing but i aint saying anything yet, that is because i was updating myself with source from malaysia today and other related newspapers and blogs, honestly, i have never read so many blogs and news in my entire life. The news updates every hour and every hour there is a few new LONG winded post. But i know at least this source is not cencored by anyone ^^
i am talking about http://www.malaysia-today.net/2008/ They have simply the best insite bout goverment and updated news.
I realise that many people are unsure if the opposition will give us a good state and good quality ruling. But one thing is for sure, they said this "we must perfrom for the people and deliver them the best as if they can vote you up as state goverment, they can easily vote you down as well". Not direct quote but roughly the same la.
At least one thin i am for sure, that is in teh nature of chinese people, they are more coutious and know where they stand. They know that if i can win now, i can easily lose next time as their foundation and supporters are not absolute. At least i believe they will try their best. Corruption will happen, its EVERYWHERE, its bullshit to say that it never happen, but its in our nature, if u do something for someone, u want something back right? Think about it, as a student, u will not only do favor 100% and not askign anything back.
The only difference is that will they corrupt so much that it is so darn obvious or will they take only a small part of it?
What the opposition is doing now is to balance out the country. Everybody warned of MAy 13, if we were to tumble the bn party, but this is a modern world, that happening is not so much likely, tho not impossible. Oppositions are slowly eating up the old goverment, that i am quite sure. Unless the opposition are the one who is making us more miserable.
Balancing out the country will do the best, specially when i comes to education, to go oversea you need to be a malay, not malaysia, and that is just plain wrong. If you need to ask why, i will suggest you google and read about human rights. We have kept quiet about this but to us, its fine, it will shape us into a better person, we wun take for granted on what we have, as we work hard to achieve what we have, like utar, most of us a poor student and we dont spend our money relentlessly, try comparing with taylor or inti student where people will cry and fight with their parent just to get the latest iphone where we would think twice if it is worth it to buy an ipod shuffle.
And we have better value for our parent than those students.
BAck to the goverment
I need to add another suggestive remark, i know that most universities oversea do not even want to accept students who had 21 A in spm or more or less. Cuz they know, they are not with quality, just that they are lucky when they were born.
If the goverment continue to give extra chances to people who are born lucky, with no quality, this country will go backwards. Really backwards. No one will ever trust our country in producing speciallist or even normal workers. Foreign invester will not want to invest in our country, heck how would u like to run business with workers who slack off and with attitude of "tidak apa" ? They are not born that way, they are bwing tought to be lazy and without quality. Cuz they are seriouslly spoon fed.
Reducing tolls is one good ways to win the people's heart. If tolls are risen as well as our salary, there will be inflation where people are willing to spend more. It cuz be a serious disaster. Worst is now we are experiencing stagflation, meaning prices still goes up even if we are not buying. It is an economist nighmare.
Point is, i believe in the opposition for now because they have not won, they are just winning, they are yet to be the new goverment, and they will still do their best to win people's heart. By reducing tolls and whatever, if you think they are really 100% working just to ensure the country is developing, without any means for themself, your seriouslly wrong. Even usa or other countries who is fully developed will not have such perfect leader.
Come on, before the election, everything is fine. Bn promise so many things, allow so many things, no saman and etc. Only fools will go against people who is bound to vote within a short period. Sure lose la..... tho never expect so much oni.
And the whole hak istimewa thing, good thing it has been reviewed and tried to be canceled, as it no longer serve anypurpose. They should help the poor, no matter they are indian malay or kadazan, not just because of the race. This they should learn from sabah. The BN there is better
and one good turning point is now BN cannot pass any legislation on their own. And this hence, slows down the fact of rising fuel cost and so on. If you wanna compare,
usa : they have very cheep fuel, they can afford to use oil guzzlers if they want to. I asked my dear fren from usa, and u wun believe their petrol price is. 10 bucks can get u going for a long long journey
thailand : their petrol price is termendous! but they have no tolls.
But there is no point comparing, we earn diffrent salary, we have diff goverment, our life quality is different, heck! IF other countries give birth to so many kids they have to pay for them or opt for adoption, not like us. You can screw all you like and someone will pay for your consenquences. No worries! tak apa punya....
other countries give our condam for free, and with 1 cent u can get a handfull of them from student clinique. Not like us, pay around RM10+ to get just 12 packed of it. So people tend to screw without protection.
I aint gonna comment on anything else other than educationa nd petrol prices cuz this are the 2 things that directly involves me, anything else, i may not be too sure about it, so better survay and keep my mouth shut first.
and i am so gonna migrate, i have 4 years to plan. Just in case anything happens when opposition really do get the goverment *whink*
